Fiat Chrysler is planning to organize a global tech centre in the Hyderabad and it would take $150 million.
Before the end of 2021, the centre will initiate approximately 1,000 jobs. On Wednesday FCA said that they will concentrate on progress for upcoming mobility in areas. For instance connected cars, artificial intelligence, data science and cloud expertise and electric versions.
Mamatha Chamarthi CIO for North America and the Asia-Pacific region said: “One of the main purposes is to digitalize all aspect of FCA’s automotive processes internationally and within India, and to move from legacy to digital by way of implementation of developing technologies”.
Fiat Chrysler, which makes and sells its Off-roader SUVs in India. They said that they want to increase hiring for the technology centre over the next two to three years.
It also said that it plans new cars for next year.
