Volkswagen has presented the first glance of its portable charging robot that could modernize the charging of electric vehicles.
Volkswagen Group Components has built the model robot. The department German car titan helping form the charging of electric vehicles simpler and more expedient, especially in constrained parking zones like car parks.
The charging robot is start off using an app or Car-to-X communication. Its works totally independently. It autonomously directs the car to be charged and connects with it. Although, after opening the charging plug lob to joining the plug and uncoupling it.
Several vehicles can charge at the same time by the robot which is a good thing to hear. It moves a preview, essentially a mobile energy storage unit. But, to the vehicle, it will connect it up and then uses the energy storage. Unit to charge the battery of the electric vehicle. While the robot is charging the other electric vehicles there the energy storage unit stays with the vehicle during the charging process.
When the charging administration has finished, the robot freely gathers the versatile energy stockpiling unit and returns it to the focal charging station. Every car parking space could have the capacity to charge a car.
The charging robot is just one of an assortment of charging solutions. Volkswagen is working on and hopefully they will be launching in early 2021.

‘They enable the operators of parking bays and underground car parks to quickly and simply “electrify” every parking space using the mobile charging robot. This reduces any construction work needed, at the same time reducing the potential cost.’
